NEW YORK, Jan. 13, 2010 -- Anvil Knitwear, Inc. joins the global community in mourning the terrible loss of life in Haiti from the recent devastating earthquake. In support of relief efforts, Anvil is supporting, among other fundraising initiatives, the efforts of The Rural Haiti Project. The Rural Haiti Project is a 501 (c) (3) youth leadership organization that aims to empower children to become leaders and builders of their communities by conducting programs for low-income at-risk children in rural areas of Haiti.
